Congratulations Knights! 

iKnights Tech Drive raised over $10,000.00. We can now purchase some of the new equipment that is so badly needed for our school. Thank you to each parent , student and staff member that participated in this very important drive for technology.

Roller Coaster Projects

Ms. Haight's Trigonometry class has completed their annual Roller Coaster projects.  The students were to use two sine, two cosine and one circle graph to create a rollercoaster design.

Beta Club
 
The NLHS Beta Club would like to express its gratitude to everyone who participated in the Pennies for Patients campaign last week.  As usual, we were excited about the response, and we far exceeded our original goal of $1500.

New Teen Law

A new law just came into effect on January 1, 2012. This law states that if a juvenile under the age of 18 is charged with a misdemeanor driving offense he/she will be charged with a misdemeanor and brought in front of a magistrate. Charges like speeding more than 15 miles over the speed limit, careless and reckless, speeding to elude, failure to move over when an emergency vehicle is approaching, etc. The juvenile will lose their drivers privileges for 30 days also.
